Eating food is an integral part of human life. Eating food is so simple. But there are lots of facts involved every single activity we perform during eating. Mom used to scold children about watching television and reading books during eating.
We can watch such an incident in every home. But such scolding has an inner meaning. When we do some other work during eating, our concentration and energy goes into that work. So the food will not digest properly. There are so many such facts. Let us take a look at them.
Do maintain a daily routine for eating. Do not change the eating times every day. Practice yourself for a proper routine. Before starting to eat wash your hands, legs and mouth. Clearly wipe your hands and legs before eating. Do not talk and read during eating.
Do not keep our door open when you are eating. Do not wear slippers during eating. Do not eat when sun rises and sun set. At such times digestive power will be very less. So not eat immediately after bathing. Especially it is common with wet clothes. And do not bath immediately after eating.
Do not eat under moonlight. When you are planning to eat out at full moon day, do not eat alone. Eat with few companions. Do not eat in dark, when light is not there. Do not intervene for some other work during eating. Focus only on eating.
